May Part II

I found several more pictures of our lives during the month of May:
Nothing like walking into the blowing snow to remind me of the joys and warmth of late Spring!  Happy first day of May.  And thanks for a great walk together, Katie.

I was weeding in the front yard and didn't want to walk inside to check if Kyralyn's room was clean so that she could go play.  So she took pictures of her hard work.  She got to play all afternoon.
We had a fun visit together when Madi was blessed.
Lincoln got him up in the air for a few seconds!
Toothless!
We gathered apple boxes from Macey's for several weeks.
They made awesome moving boxes.
Springtime thanks to Grandma Spencer.  I stopped up to drop something off and she sent me home with a special and delicious smelling gift!
She was determined to run in the 5K but raced off in the Fun Run instead.
Ready for his first 5K.
Willowcreek fundraiser.
Did it in 22:45, took 6th over all.
7th grade.
Windy day for a bike ride near Utah Lake.
Happy Friday.
A few forgotten toys escaped the boxes.
Friends are one of life's best treasures.
Waiting for our pictures from Camera Shy.  Thanks for the cute hair-do Corrine!
Storytime with Dad is the best!
Lots of laughing.

1st Scout badge for Parker.  You're on your way to great things!  (When did he grow up?)
Star award for Dallin.  Great work!  On you go.
Love our mornings with Tate and baby Madi.
Kyralyn was enjoying a bubble morning.
"Look what I caught, Mom!"

Moving day.  We had so much help it went fairly quickly.  Even the "rooms" I had planned on moving over the next several days were moved today by dear family and friends.
Thanks everyone.
The double trampoline lasted for a few months.
(But the novelty of it wore off after about a week!)
(And yes, they'd jump from one to the other.
And later the blue one was moved closer to the deck...)
Oh yeah, I guess we'd better feed everyone.
Lunch!
After their hard moving-in work they took an exploring break.  They were gone so long I got in the car to go find them.  Of course they were fine, happy to be playing on the dirt hills and near the pond.
We haven't done this for a LONG time!

Spring ball.
The other side of a gym:
The boys didn't quite know what to do when they walked in and were told to hold the balls for 10 minutes.  But they did.

Sometimes a long drive to a gym feels like that much needed get-away.

May

For almost 12 years I had tulips every spring.
My favorite.
One year my friend, Aleta, gave me her lilac bush when she moved.  Tulips and lilacs.
The perfect springtime combination.
The last Pack Meeting Paul put together as the Cub Master was an Arrow of Light ceremony for Parker & Jacob.
Fun activities.
Great ceremony.
Lincoln helped Kyralyn fly her kite one evening.
They got it pretty high in the sky!
Tate was delighted.
Pork chops and Charlie Daniels Band.
Going to cook dinner?
Have some fun while you're at it!
Tongs make a great substitute fiddle.
Kyralyn's 1st Grade program in Mrs. Nuttall's class.
A celebration of the United States of America.
Our home for just shy of 12 years.
So many memories.

5/30/13
We celebrated the end of school in our new home with good friends.

April Activities

4/1/13  Parker's after-school activity.  I'm not too sure where the 2013 cupcake craze has come from, but the 4 different times they've been made in the first 1/2 of this year already is more than the previous 13 years combined!
4/5/13 our favorite blended drink - orange julius
4/6/13 Dallin got to spend the afternoon at Scheels with Kaysen and his family.  He had a great time, especially since he was able to use his birthday gift card on some awesome bargains!
4/15/13  Getting a feel for what would hopefully be our new home.
4/17/13 Thanks for the afternoon laugh Parker.
4/19/13 Paul brought back oranges from a fruit stand in California.  They were sweet, juicy and made for a delicious addition to our orange julius.
4/20/13 Holding on, tight as sisters
4/27/13 Parker's gift from Dallin & Kyralyn came in the mail the next day:  FIFA Soccer 2013
 4/30/13 Chocolate milk bubbles
 4/30/13 It finally came out!
4/25/13 My morning friend.  This horse has been in the same place every morning I pass by.  Enjoying the sun.
4/26/13  Close your eyes!  Keep 'em closed.
4/26/13 He spent most of the next hour enjoying his ride.
 4/26/13  Happy 11th!
Favorites:  staying awake at night, iPod, music, oatmeal cake, pork chops, grilling, Dad, friends, cooking, helping, family, music to "help me get to sleep", balloons, fire, trampoline, basketball, creating stories at school to tell later in life, your bike.
4/3/13 looking at houses, late night basketball games and lots of living make for an exhausted 6 year old!  In this picture we'd just walked in from a game, it was about 10:00.  The boys were getting cleaned up and Paul & I were talking in the kitchen.  We looked over and found her fast asleep.
4/6/13 General Conference Saturday morning.  We had our donut-picnic and then Tate & 1 month old Madi came over so Uncle Lincoln could go to the hospital for another treatment.
4/10/13 Pinewood Derby.  Parker took 3rd.
 4/18/13 Hope of America 2013
The Green Guys, military tributes always bring a tear to my eyes, Jeans GoldenGirls dancing to "Hey, Sexy Lady!" - Kyralyn thought they were so funny.  When I told her these ladies are between 50 & 90 years old and grandmas she said, "Impressive!", "Let Your Light Shine" - most of the kids' favorite - performed with flashlights.
We live in a great nation.
4/28/13 A quick trip to Uncle Lincoln's turned into an awesome Sunday visit and BBQ.  Tate loves to take care of Baby Pooh just like Mommy takes care of Baby Madi.  Thanks for having us!
