the gift of time

Saturday,

We were planning to leave bright and early this morning to get home today since Dallin was leaving Monday morning for scout camp. But when the time came, none of us really wanted to say goodbye. Dallin was ready for Scout Camp except for a small bit of laundry and the extra time together would be worth the packing rush on Sunday evening.

We decided to stay for the day, return the pontoon boat to Kyle's house and stay overnight in Idaho Falls.

We are so glad that we stayed.

Jayme set up crafting time for all the kids
Kyralyn added the bubbles

coming into the dock, Tylan jumped out to swim over to his parents, then we noticed the moose & headed closer (turning to the right in this picture)

this time Kyralyn jumped out of the boat & swam over

why the scowls boys?  (Kaysen & Jace playing Settlers)
The rain has come and gone while we were here, only staying for a few minutes a couple of times a day.  After we got back from our boat ride today, it came again.  And stayed hard & strong for about an hour.  During this time, Tom & his family came for a visit...they managed to get some play time & a boat ride in before we pulled the pontoon boat out.  We headed back to Helena just after 6pm.

Kyralyn; this time she only held onto the board.  Later in the day she was able to get the handle and be up strong on her knees.

Georgetown Lake, Montana

I set up my camera and a chair on the beach.
It was a cloudy day but several people wanted boat rides and the kids wanted to get in the water.

Jasmine left peanuts on the log for this chipmunk.  He came for the snack after she'd left for her boat ride.  He did eat them, Jazzy!
Several kids weren't too sure they wanted to get into this cool mountain lake.
Paul thought he'd help them along by promising a dollar to those kids who jumped in and swam to the platform and back.
By the next day they'd all received their dollars.
And spent a lot of time playing in the water.
Kyle thought he'd give the boys a show

encouraging Dan to join them on the platform
he's on his way
he made it!
time for a few more kids to get in the water

Dan made sure he was in on the action
