Parker's 3rd grade teacher occasionally commented on how much she enjoyed his sense of humor. She remarked on his end of the year report card that he would always "get" her jokes even when the other kids gave her blank looks.
When he was a week or two into first grade, the office buzzed into his classroom over the PA system. The teacher acknowledged but there was no reply from the office. A short moment went by when Parker spoke clearly & definitively:
"Mrs. Nuttal's class will all be receiving cupcakes at recess."
We love that story (maybe I've already posted it?) Anyhow...he still has a great sense of humor.
This past weekend was our Stake Conference. Kyralyn was still pretty sick & Dallin wasn't feeling well yet either.
I took advantage stayed home from the meeting & Paul took Parker.
When they arrived home Parker was busting to tell me about his favorite part.

A story was told that got a nice chuckle out of the congregation.
Parker gave it a Laugh Out Loud.
(Wish I was there to hear you laugh.)
The story went something like this: A little boy named Tommy was misbehaving at church again, as usual. His teacher took him and his friend to the Bishop's office. The friend ran off somewhere else but Tommy sat down in the chair. The Bishop looked him straight in the eye and asked, "Tommy do you know where Jesus is?" The boy, with a very worried and anxious look on his face jumped out of his seat, took off out the door & found his friend. He said,
"Jesus is missing and they think we did it!"
