We'd gone to Thanksgiving Point for ice cream after watching A Christmas Carol at Hale Center Theatre.  We were warm inside & the fire pit warmed us again before we ran to the car! 12/22/11

Happy New Year!

We all cheered the New Year with Martinelli's.  Lots of it.  (Before the kids ran up & down the neighborhood street blowing whistles & banging on pots!)  Clay & Paul celebrated with a guzzling challenge - Paul drank fast and got all but the last swig down.  Clay drank slow and got it all down.  Paul was happy to oblige.  (Speaking of guzzling, we don't want to forget Paul's milk challenge at a work convention later in the month - drink a gallon of milk & keep it down for an hour to win a prize.  He did it!  (It never did come back up)  He couldn't look at or drink milk for 4 days!)

All ready for his first winter campout with the scouts  1/20/12

These used to be Parker's favorite jeans.  But after a wall-ball accident at morning recess, they are clearly no more.  He cleverly covered himself with a hoodie wrapped around his middle while he waited for new jeans.  Unfortunately, through a series of unfortunately timed events, I didn't get the message until the school day was almost over!  When I did finally bring him some other pants, he had a good laugh with me about it in the office!
